Mike Daisey Says the Fiasco May Have Done Some Good

Mike DaiseyAs we prepare to open The Book Club Play in the Mainstage on Saturday night, and as the Bob set loads into the Fielding Nextstage, I stumbled upon this article in the L.A. Times about Mike Daisey’s The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs, an adaptation of which was our last show in the Nextstage. In this article, Daisey discusses the response to the fabrications in his original monologue, and the impact he suspects the play has had on labor conditions in China – fabrications and all.
