With the first performance of THE MAGICIAN'S DAUGHTER coming up tonight, it seems like a great time to share some thoughts from playwright Lila Rose Kaplan on the play, her writing career, and the things that inspire her. Intellectually, we know that there is a process to creativity: it takes time and a fair amount of trial and error to create something new. It’s a rare thing, however, to witness creation firsthand.
