We just finished up the first day of our EMC Arts Innovation grant work – where we’ll be working to put artists and audience at the center of our organization.
This incredibly competitive grant, given out my EMC, was in response to our plan to put you at the center of the organization – which means things like this blog, opening up our artistic process, backstage tours, direct artist and audience events, etc.
So, today we started sketching out how can we improve on all those things and take it all to the next level….also, we got to see Playwright Karen Zacarias (author of THE BOOK CLUB PLAY) look like Max Headroom all day. So that’s always fun.
